Students should have taken either the SAT or the ACT by the end of their junior year. Most schools will accept either test. ACT
questions are often easier to understand on a first read. On the SAT, you may need to spend time figuring out what you’re being asked before
you can start solving the problem. It is recommended that whichever test the student scores highest be retaken to increase the score.
Start taking those tests this spring too! Register NOW so that you don’t get closed out of your preferred testing site! Don’t wait!

Students with an IEP or 504 plan
If you have an IEP or 504 plan and qualify for testing accommodations at ACPA, please see Ms. Zimmer to apply for ACT/SAT accommodations.
Please submit accommodations requests at least 2 weeks prior to test sign up deadline.
Fee Waivers for ACT & SAT
If you have qualified for Free or Reduced lunch, you may use at least two fee waivers per test. Please see Ms. Ruff or Ms. Zimmer for more information!
If you qualify for Free or Reduced lunch, you are also eligible for college application fee waivers during your senior year. You should fill out the lunch application each year.
